-The sloping ankle and rolled heel make driving more comfortable than in other 8" boots.
-The small elastic sections located at the top of the foot in the lace pattern help to prevent discomfort when bending the foot upwards, such as when crouching or kneeling.
-The shock absorbing heel helps to slightly lower discomfort when walking on non-flat surfaces such as gravel.
-Traction is very good on areas slick with old oil, or are wet.
This is a replacement pair that Magnum gave me after a problem with their previous Stealth Force 8.0 model. The previous model was all leather, including supple leather around the ankles (that was the location of the problem for those boots). Since these boots combine the strength of the durable leather in key locations on the sides of the boots with balistic nylon webbing, they allow for more mobility without sacrificing support. The webbing encased foam uppers around the ankle appear to be able to solve the problem I had with the leather in the same area. Although I have not yet had these boots as long as I had the other pair when the problem arose, I'm suspecting these changes will prevent any similar issues.
